Jessica Beauchamp, LICSW
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in private practice in the state of Massachusetts. I work with adults and emerging adults including individuals across sexual and gender identity spectrums. I work jointly with emerging adults to negotiate this stressful transitional period improving mental health and social functioning. I have special clinical interest in perinatal mood disorders, anxiety and adjustment issues and have worked extensively with depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, gender identity and equality, LGBTQ+ issues, self esteem, and trauma. I believe that each person's path towards healing and wellness is unique and I am prepared to offer a variety of interventions.
I have a Master of Social Work from University of Illinois - Chicago and a Bachelor of Art in Sociology from Clark University. I draw on a wide range of clinical and non-profit experiences including my work with new parents, members of the LGBTQ+ community, college students, and working professionals. Prior to opening my private practice within Harvard Counseling Associates in 2017, I worked as a clinician with Life Management Associates, a group practice in Harvard, MA.
My approach is client-centered and relational, drawing on one’s strengths to help encourage healing and change. I believe that healing takes place within relationships, and I aim to create a warm and collaborative environment in which my clients and I together can explore, grow and heal.
