Jessica Beauchamp, LICSW
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in private practice in the state of Massachusetts. I work with adults and emerging adults including individuals across sexual and gender identity spectrums. I work jointly with emerging adults to negotiate this stressful transitional period improving mental health and social functioning. I have special clinical interest in perinatal mood disorders, anxiety and adjustment issues and have worked extensively with depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, gender identity and equality, LGBTQQ issues, self esteem, and trauma. I believe that each person's path towards healing and wellness is unique and I am prepared to offer a variety of interventions.
I have a Master of Social Work from University of Illinois - Chicago and a Bachelor of Art in Sociology from Clark University. I draw on a wide range of clinical and non-profit experiences including my work with new parents, members of the LGBTQQ community, college students, and working professionals. Prior to opening my private practice within Harvard Counseling Associates in 2017, I worked as a clinician with Life Management Associates, a group practice in Harvard, MA.
My approach is client-centered and relational, drawing on one’s strengths to help encourage healing and change. I believe that healing takes place within relationships, and I aim to create a warm and collaborative environment in which my clients and I together can explore, grow and heal.
